There is nothing better than a good Degas.
The muted colors.
The soft shades.
The moodiness.
The flow.
The movement.
Makes me wish my mom had sent me
to those ballet classes
so I could be one of them

i ADORE Degas, and I have his Dancers in Blue in my room... I did ballet for 13 years! and actually one year, we did a performance based off his painting The Ballet Class

and our outfits were designed just like that, and when the curtain opened we were posed seriously exactly like the painting, and then the painting came to life and the ballet was like the stories behind the dancers, like the diva and the girly best friends, the late one, the chatty one (me) etc. it was soo fun!
